After ‘Heropanti’ and ‘Baaghi’, Sabbir Khan is back with his next movie Munna Michael. A new actress is being launched in the film opposite to Tiger Shroff. The Bangalore based girl Nidhhi Agerwal has signed Sabbir’s film Munna Michael. The 23-year-old Nidhhi is a business graduate. The Actress is cute, chirpy and full of life. And, Interestingly, she wanted to finish her career as a legendary Actress.


Education, Qualification and Achievements

Bangalore has proved to be lucky for Bollywood. Deepika Padukone (Who has recently performed the Ghoomar Song as a leading actress, playing the role of Rani Padmavati aka Rani Padmini of Chittor in Padmavati Movie) and Anushka Sharma are the leading heroines of Bollywood and now the third one from there is Nidhhi Agerwal. She is also very talented like the two divas. Nidhhi has acquired the training in ballet, kathak and belly dancing for seven years. She is good at both Indian classical and Western dancing. Among many aspirants, she was the lucky and talented one to be chosen for the film. Nidhhi has been a beauty contest finalist. She was one of the contestants of Miss Diva 2014. The model said that she has always dreamt of becoming an actress whenever she saw Aishwarya Rai in the movies.

According to the latest reports, Nidhhi Agerwal is all set to debut in the South Indian film industry with a Telugu movie. After making her Bollywood entry with Tiger Shroff-starrer Munna Michael, it will be another interesting challenge for the talented actress. The shooting for her first South Indian film, reportedly named Sabyasachi, will start next month and Nidhhi has given dates till mid-December to complete the schedule, as reported by DNA.


Just like Tiger Shroff, she is a trained dancer as well as a fitness freak. Both of them would make a nice couple. Nidhhi’s dad is a Karate champion and he was quite happy to see that his daughter is going to be in a movie with his favourite Tiger Shroff. She has made her dad proud of her.

No-dating clause signed by Nidhhi Agerwal

  • Nidhhi was also asked to sign a no-dating clause till the completion of the film. There were some rumors about her dating with Tiger Shroff. She clears this statement as:
"These were just speculations. I do like Tiger a lot for the fact that he has a golden heart and I am lucky in a way that I got a friend in him. I knew no one in Mumbai and he is the first one I got to know in the city. I am grateful to him for helping me that much as it's my first film. Tiger and I were made to sign a no-dating clause and then also the rumours came up." she said.


"I understand that the intention is that they want 100 per cent dedication from me. Not like I have a life beyond work in any case. Connection of Nidhhi Agerwal from Bollywood

Munna Michael newbie Nidhhi Agerwal, shares her struggle before getting into Bollywood in her recent interview. The actor also adds that the real battle lies in sustaining and getting work after the first movie.

After asking about the connection b/w Bollywood and Her,

  • “I have no film connection, I come from a business family. It was tough to get in here but it isn’t like it has become easy now. Earlier I used to think ‘oh I’ll get a film then everything will be great’. It doesn’t work like that,” Nidhhi told PTI. 
  • “Once you get a film, the pressure, the stress increases after that. It never lessens. You have to do well, there are expectations from people. The other side is of the paparazzi too, so you have to look decent all the time. But I am enjoying all of this,” she says.
  • About her role, she says, “I am a trained dancer. I have learnt ballet for seven years. Since I play a dancer in the movie, it helped me a lot. I used to go to the gym but I started working on my fitness after I got the film. I showed Katrina Kaif’s photos to my gym trainer and said, ‘Aisi body chahiye mujhe’.”
  • However, her favourite actress is Deepika Padukone. “Maybe it’s our Bengaluru connection. Her sister used to be in my school,” she says.

Waiting of Years finally got over!

The actor is aware that an opportunity is all that matters to showcase one’s talent and feels blessed to have entered Bollywood with Munna Michael. 
  • “I’ve been waiting for years to get into it (acting). I am very nervous because I want to do a good job and I hope people like me. When I see myself on the posters, in the trailers, I feel so happy that I got an opportunity to be here and do what I wanted,” she says.
According to the Interview taken by Indianexpress.com,
Nidhhi says working with both of them (Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui), was equally fun and she was never intimidated by the them. 
  • “I never tried to compete with them in a scene. I was focusing on what I had to do. Tiger helped me a lot and we got along really well. With Nawaz sir, I used to just observe him, how he approached his scenes and performed,” she says.
While talking about the First day shoot of her life during Munna Michael Film shooting, It wasn’t that the actor became comfortable being in front of the camera right from the go, as Nidhhi recalls being awestruck on the first day of the shoot. 
  • “When I saw the set on first day… it was huge, and I had to dance, which was my introduction shot. I got so nervous that despite being a dancer, I couldn’t do it. I had to then calm myself down and focus on it (shot). Later I started enjoying it,” she says.

  • "I have three films deal with Eros. I can't say what next now! I will spend time with friends and family." she says.
  • Kind of films which she wants to do "It's too early to choose. I am ready for every film and every genre, apart from horror, I can't work in horror. I am really scared!" she says again!

Nidhhi Agerwal along with Tiger Shroff also went to promote their movie on The Kapil Sharma Show. They have a ball promoting Munna Michael on the show. 
"The duo was on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote the film and I must tell you, this was one of the most entertaining episodes ever. The episode started on a great note as Nidhhi just couldn’t stop laughing at Kiku Sharda’s antics."

Four rounds of audition to bag 'Munna Michael' - First Bollywood Movie

It's exceptional that Nidhhi Agerwal passed four rounds of audition to bag 'Munna Michael'.
  • First round was acting, then dancing, then a meeting and then there was one where they wanted to see a video of a dance and the video of me enacting a scene.

"That goal seemed impossible, considering that I come from a non-film background. I didn't know how to pursue my dream. However, the people around me would always say, 'You have a Bollywood face'."
Eventually, she started modelling. It was only when she was offered a Kannada film did she realise that Bollywood could be possible as well. Her next stop was Mumbai where she started attending auditions.
"I went through four rounds of auditions before I landed 'Munna Michael'," reveals Nidhhi, adding, "I used to hate it when people would say, 'Oh, you are going to Mumbai to try and make a mark in the Hindi film industry'. Isn't everyone trying to make a mark in their chosen field?"

First Scene and Experience of filming 'Munna Michael'

Nidhhi says, 
"My first scene was actually my introduction song in the movie. That was a quintessential Ganesh Acharya song with expressions and Bollywood gradients that you found find in his songs. So, it was my FIRST day on the set and it was so different from my zone. Just to understand the feel of the set was so surreal. The whole experience was like learning how to swim but throwing someone in the deep end and let them learn on their own. It was do or die for me at that time."

Developing the chemistry with Tiger and Nawaz

Nidhhi continue says, 
"With Tiger it was organic, we just got along really well. He is a genuine person and I am very fond of him. Over time we have become really good friends so doing the love scenes was also very easy with him. With Nawaz sir, my chemistry is very different. There is no love song, but the chemistry is very different. With Tiger the chemistry is very romantic and with Nawaz sir it is very interesting." 

Asking about Dating co-actor Tiger Shroff during 'Munna Michael'

Actor Nidhhi Agerwal says that actor Tiger Shroff is just a good friend and he helped her a lot on the sets of her debut film Munna Michael. There have been reports suggesting that Tiger’s proximity with Nidhhi has created problems between him and his rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani.
“There is no truth to this. We have become really good friends, that is all. We get along really well. Tiger is my first friend in Mumbai. He has helped me a lot on the sets of our film and I will never forget that. I am lucky to meet a person like him who has helped me so much. I am very grateful to him,” says Nidhhi.
Asked if she is dating someone else, she quips, 
“I have no personal life. There is always time for love... love is such a beautiful thing but I don’t have it. The weather is also so romantic and I am just sitting alone.”

Nidhhi’s debut in Bollywood is with Sabbir Khan who has made successful films and she is happy that she is in safe hands to enter the Bollywood. 
Meanwhile, the actress was in news recently as she was facing trouble in finding a house owing to her single and an actor. She is currently staying with her college friend and her family, and has been searching for a separate house for quite some time now but in vain. A few media reports even suggested that Nidhhi was asked to vacate her flat, but her spokesperson refuted the rumours.
